Meet Zayn, Our New Design Engineer at United Fire Systems!

From a young age, Zayn knew he was destined to create. His love for building and engineering began early and was nurtured through humble beginnings and a strong desire to make sure things just worked.

By the time he was 13, he was already orienting himself for higher education. As part of an accelerated middle school program, he focused deeply on math, science, problem-solving, and creativity, setting the foundation for the path he walks today.

In high school, Zayn chose a technical school with a concentration in Automotive Engineering. There, his hands-on experience and natural curiosity only deepened. He made sure every decision aligned with his long-term goals, keeping math and science at the core of his education.

He followed that passion to Rutgers University, where he pursued a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Renewable Energy. Zayn made sure every step of his education aligned with his goal of becoming a skilled engineer.

What drew Zayn to fire protection design? The perfect blend of problem-solving, 3D modeling, and real-world impact. His comfortability with web-based 3D modeling and design software, paired with a deep appreciation for critical thinking, made design engineering the right fit for him.

Zayn joins us with the belief that good design is a mix of logic, creativity, and hands-on problem-solving. He feels that United Fire Systems aligns with his personal values, offering an environment where meaningful work meets professional growth.
